Norm the mechanic was unbelievably knowledgeable as well as personable. He ran all the fault finding to diagnose the issue then obtained and replaced the fuel pump while my car was disabled in a carpark, saving any towing costs. The period from calling ACE to driving away was under 2 hours (NW Melbourne on a weekday).If I need mechanic help again, I will using ACE and asking for Norm.

Absolutely recommend this service!Had a pre purchase inspection done on a second hand vehicle. Visually the car was great, car history outstanding, full service logs kept, and reasonable price.Report showed many, many issues that were not visible. Helped me avoid a lenon big time.The mechanic Liam was super friendly, and his communication and patience was appreciated seeing he waited 40+ mins after the seller slept in and didn't answer his door or calls.Will definitely be using these guys for any further checks needed.Highly recommend!

Pre purchase inspection:At first I thought the price of inspection was too high about $100 more than the average competitor but after witnessing the vehicle inspection they were far more in depth than any pre purchase inspection I’ve come across. Detailed photos of everything, explanations made easy to understand and huge sums of time and detail put into the inspection. I do recommend this company.Improvements they could make:•Lower cost•shorter wait times (was a 2hr waiting window for arrival)Overall 5 star service and worth it.

My alternator died and I needed a new battery for my honda, Nirmal Singh came and helped me out. Incredible service and a great price for what needed to be done. After realising that the alternator couldn't be replaced, he offered to rebuild the existing one and sorted the car out in no time. Great communication about what needed to be done and why, i would highly recommend these guys for any on site repairs and would definitely reach out to them again for any future problems!

Big job of fixing an oil leak and was executed almost without any issues. The car had higher idle rpms after and they send somebody free of charge to adjust it and did it in 10 minutes. Now the car is running nice and smooth. Very happy with the job and service.

Will was amazing, he came out assessed my car within minutes and then it only took him about an hour to replace my drive belt and alternator. He was really friendly and explained everything to me in great detail, so I was confident he knew what he was doing and didn’t rip me off. At the end he let me take it for a spin before I paid to make sure I was happy and nothing else needed fixing. Great company, would definitely recommend.

I had ace come out to do an independent assessment of my vehicle and diagnostics after another mechanic failed to repair an issue after 5 days and because I had doubts around the work they stated they completed.
My mechanic diagnosed correctly all issues and then subsequently repaired the vehicle and completed the works the previous mechanic failed to compete within 3 hrs
He provided a full report with photos which I will be using to seek compensation and to take the matter to consumer affairs for remedy.
I can't thank you enough for the work you done and the integrity, honesty & due diligence in repairing my car.
Trust is so important especially as I am a female and I will not be using another mechanic in the future. I highly recommend to anyone thanks again 🙏🏼I'm so grateful

Nick, the mechanic who came out to replace the alternator was here in the time frame quoted , he got to work on my car in some not so pleasant weather, and had it done in 1.5 hours . would use their service again and recommend them to others who need a mechanic to come to their car to fix it.

I enquired this morning via website as I required a new alternator and my car was completely dead.
I got a phone call from the company within 5 minutes and was booked in for a couple of hours later. Ali was the mechanic and he rang me to let me know when he would arrive etc. He completed the job professionally and efficiently and kept me in the loop.
